2014, the year I will conquer some huge fears and walk on stage at the Miss Plus America Pageant in Atlanta, Georgia. Looking back on my life so far I cannot believe I have made it to this point, and I am so excited for all that is to come.
My mind has started to flood with dress ideas, interview questions, and how to avoid breaking my ankles in heels, but what I am most excited for is appearances!
I made my first appearance on December 30th in Pioneer Square giving out hot soup, coffee, sandwiches, and rolls to the homeless people of Portland with Ms Oregon Plus America 2013, and Miss Oregon Accomplished American!
I will be appearing next at the Brides Against Breast Cancer event at the Double Tree Hotel in Portland on January 10th and 11th! Breast Cancer Awareness is near and dear to my heart and the BABC program will contribute over 2 million dollars to Breast Cancer Research this year, I am so honored to be a part of their event!
